TSiD is a short form for “Yahweh Tsidqenu”, which is the Hebrew name of God meaning the Lord our righteousness. This name is also known as Jehovah Tsidqenu. The word “Tsidkenu” is derived from “Tsedek” and means “righteousness,” “right,” “honest,” accurate,” justice”, “truth,” or “integrity.”
The founders of TSiD are Christopher Magendran and Jabez Tay. Both Chris and Jabez are serial entrepreneurs and have begun their entrepreneurial journey in their life since young even before starting TSiD. Chris has started multiple informal and home businesses before starting TSiD, including a marketing agency, an ecommerce brand and an Edtech startup. Jabez also interned in various startups and incorporated his own Edtech startup. Both Chris and Jabez are well versed in emerging technologies and growth hacking and take their time to serve in non-profit organizations. Both Chris and Jabez started TSiD as they initially wanted a source of income as both were doing a startup each and would want to be more financially secured individually. They decided to do a business offering digital solutions and consultancy because they saw a need and gap in the market to consult, offer and implement low but cost- effective solutions for start-ups and SMEs (Small Medium Enterprises). With their prior experiences in running their own tech business and working for various tech companies, they want to bring their diverse tech skill sets to help and equip other companies and organizations to be more productive.
